Assisted 2679 people on low income furnish their homes with safe and serviceable furniture and household goods. Many clients have partners / children so in real terms WNWN helped at least 4000 people achieve a more pleasant and comfortable lifestyle.

  • Collected goods from  1060 household in North Wiltshire
  • Diverted approximately  91 metric tonnes of reusable goods away from landfill
  • Provided volunteering, training and work experience to 30 individuals including 5 people rehabilitating after mental health or drink / drug issues and 6 individuals on Government Training schemes.

WNWN was pleased to provide community work experience to 8 Student Police Officers who were each attached to the project for two days as part of their initial Police Training Programme.

The above would not have been possible without the enthusiasm and hard work of the Waste Not Want Not staff and volunteers financial support from:

The Big Lottery

Chippenham Borough Lands Charity.

Westlea Housing Association

Waste Not Want Not Enjoys Receiving Positive Feedback From Its Customers And Below Is A Small Selection Of The Written Comments That Have Been Passed On To The Project.

There is always a large selection of sofas and beds. We have bought a number of items from here and been delighted with them. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

All the staff show respect and treat you as a person. They are very helpful and the most important thing is you are under no pressure what so ever. They are an asset to our community with prices that the customers can afford. I just wish all stores could take lessons from them dealing with customers. Keep up the good work.

Very pleased with purchases good polite staff friendly will pass on about shop to others on low income.

Waste Not Want Not could not exist without the generosity of the people of North Wiltshire who willing give the charity unwanted items of furniture and household goods this kind support is very much appreciated.
